WELCOME. I'm a Toronto-based journalist who has written for the Economist, Foreign Affairs, London Review of Books, Adbusters, the Daily Beast, Maisonneuve, the Walrus, This magazine, World Politics Review, and Vice.
I first cut my teeth in journalism in Beirut, Lebanon, where I lived between 2012 and 2015 covering Middle East politics and the Syrian refugee crisis. While there, I was also a staff editor at Carnegie Middle East, which is part of Carnegie's global network of think tanks headquartered in Washington, DC.
These days I write about a range of issues and topics related to Canada, the US, and the Middle East.
